Building Under Developed Sensory Systems (BUSS)

BUSS is an intervention which aims to help children who have had disruptions in their early development. The intervention helps children and young people to develop good bodily regulation which is about them be able to knowing their bodies and being able to use them without much thought. For some children who have had disruption in their early years, they may struggle to move in a co-ordinated way and may bump and crash at times. They may find certain sounds or feelings too much and they may have struggles in getting their body to responds the way they want.

The BUSS model help support you and your child in filling any gaps in their sensory systems in a playful way. Currently this can be offered as a face to face intervention for children 5 – 18.

If you feel that this may be helpful for your child please contact us at stuart@parentchildrelationships.com
